Install HealthSource
The iOS app owns the HealthKit permission because Apple Health data is local to the device.
Apple Health to ChatGPT bridge
Download HealthSource, grant read-only Apple Health access, sync your approved context, then choose HealthSource inside ChatGPT and ask what your vitals, sleep, recovery, and training history are saying.
The iPhone app asks Apple Health for read-only access.
The user sends only the approved health context snapshot.
ChatGPT reads HealthSource through a permissioned bridge.
Apple Health has the history. ChatGPT has the reasoning interface. HealthSource is the bridge that connects them deliberately: read-only HealthKit access, explicit sync, and a ChatGPT app that can read only the authorized HealthSource context.
HealthSource should not be another dashboard and it should not be a GPT wrapper. Its job is to make approved Apple Health context available to the AI assistant the user already wants to use.
The iOS app owns the HealthKit permission because Apple Health data is local to the device.
The user approves selected metrics such as HRV, sleep, resting heart rate, workouts, and vitals.
A deliberate sync action creates the latest authorized context snapshot for the bridge.
The user asks normal questions about recovery, sleep, load, or physiological changes.
HealthSource is designed around a constrained context contract: enough history for useful analysis, not a warehouse of raw health data.
The app should make AI conversations more informed. It should not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, sell data, or turn into a wellness dashboard.
ChatGPT instructions must avoid diagnosis, treatment guidance, and medical certainty.
No charts for charting's sake. The interface exists to grant access, connect, and sync.
No analytics SDKs, advertising use, third-party tracking, or secondary use of HealthKit data.
HealthSource 1.0 is in Apple App Review, and the HealthSource ChatGPT app is in OpenAI review. The production bridge remains live for reviewer demo data, OAuth pairing, and read-only ChatGPT access to authorized health context.
